Vikki represented GB at junior, under-23 and senior levels, in both rowing and sculling, although her response to the question “Rowing or sculling?” is an emphatic “Rowing!” She steered the lightweight coxless four in 1988 at the World Championships.
She is the only British woman to race internationally over three different distances (1,000m, 1,500m and 2,000m) in consecutive years.
She also coached rowing at Emanuel School, Kingston Grammar School and Putney High School.
